Devin is a professional photographer who was born and raised in Idaho and has spent decades exploring the amazing Intermountain West region of the United States. Fortunate to live near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and incredible swaths of public lands owned by the American people, Devin has been able to learn wildlife behavior as he explores the landscape and this knowledge enables him to capture wildlife and the world around them.

Devin's photography journey began at a young age, starting with various point-and-shoot cameras with 35mm and Kodak disc films before moving into the SLR cameras. In high school Devin explored the world of black and white film and print development through various courses and Devin was a high school yearbook and newspaper photographer; it was during this time that Devin knew that nature photography was his passion. To fuel the ability to purchase camera gear for his nature photography passion while pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees, Devin was the photo editor for the university's newspaper, where he had the opportunity to photograph high-paced Division 1 college sports, national finals rodeos, concerts, and more.

Devin is passionate about maintaining and creating excellent spaces in the world. When not documenting the beautify in the Rockies, Devin works full-time as the City of Chubbuck's Community Services Director, overseeing the city's planning, building, development, parks system, and business recruitment and retention efforts. Devin also serves as the Executive Director for the Chubbuck Development Authority, the urban renewal agency in Chubbuck. Devin loves to promote the Pocatello-Chubbuck area for its amazing access to the great outdoors- within minutes of the cities are world-class mountain biking and hiking at City Creek and on public land, trout and bass fishing on the Snake and Portneuf rivers, wildlife such as mule deer, elk, moose, pronghorn, mountain lions, and sometimes bears- and just a short drive away are Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, Craters of the Moon National Monument, and Sun Valley. The area also has an emerging microbrewery scene, a revitalizing historic downtown, historic residential neighborhoods, and several planned walkable and well-planned mixed-use developments at Northside Crossing, Harvest Springs, and and Northgate. If you're passing through the area for your vacation or businesses, don't skip the area; late September and October make for amazing fall foliage in the surrounding hills. Feel free to reach out for suggestions on where to visit if you’re in the area.

Devin serves or has served on the board of directors for the Portneuf Greenway Foundation, the Idaho State University Alumni Association, Bannock Development Corporation, the Pocatello Development Authority, the Redevelopment Association of Idaho, and others. Devin holds a bachelor of science degree in Political Science and a master's degree in Public Administration. Devin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
